From the latest news and further reading about the impact of Fairtrade, to Events past and present. Here you will find all our blogs and articles that document the work our volunteers have been doing to persuade people to choose Fairtrade products and make the future fair!
Our work locally helps to raise awareness and understanding of Fairtrade and increase the market for Fairtrade products. This supports the Fairtrade Foundation nationally and Fairtrade International who work directly with businesses and producers to ensure that Fairtrade certified products deliver the benefits they claim. Our work, with that of similar groups around the UK, (and the world!) has helped to raise awareness of the Fairtrade Mark: now an amazing 92% of UK shoppers recognise it and 88% trust it (more from the Fairtrade Foundation).
